I had a lot of students ask me if I could add pictures of me to our website. Most students wanted to see me as a baby, when I went to El Camino Real and some acting photos. Professional:

Mrs. Lambert has her masters in Educational Administration. She is Woodury's Title One Coordinator, School Site Council Coordinator, and LAN Tech. She is also a head coach for the Mustang Milers running program.

Family Facts:

My husband's name is Larry and we have two children. Allison is six and a half years old and Grant is five years old. Both are students at Woodbury. I am the oldest of four children (Adam, Heather, and Jason are my brothers and sister). My husband is one of ten children!

I grew up in Irvine, attending El Camino Real, Sierra Vista, and Irvine High School. Mrs. Samuel (one of Woodbury's third grade teachers) was my second and third grade teacher. We moved back to Irvine after living in Las Vegas for seven years. We are so happy to be here!

Favorite Colors:

Green and Purple.

Hobbies:

Reading, running, and swimming.

Favorite Movie:

A favorite in our house is Meet the Robinsons. I love the message, "Keep moving forward!" I often organize movie outings for the class. One of my favorites from last year was Toy Story 3. I also enjoyed Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs.

Favorite Disney Character:

Winnie the Pooh! In fact, although she is now into the Disney's Princesses, we decorated my daughter's nursery with the Winnie the Pooh characters. Eeyore happens to be my second favorite Disney character. Mater (from Cars) comes in third.

Place I'd Most Like to Visit:

Kauai is my favorite place to visit. I love the beautiful beaches and colorful flowers. My kids love watching the sea turtles.

Why I Became A Teacher:

I love working with children and making a difference in their lives. My second grade teacher (Mrs. Samuel) taught me a lot as a child and continues to share her wisdom with me. I also had a lot of fun playing school when I was younger and I used to make my little brother play with me. I always gave him a lot of homework! :-)

Other Fun Stuff:

I worked at Disneyland for three years and loved every minute of it. I even had the opportunity to be in the Electrical Parade once! I played Pinocchio and was lit up like a Christmas tree!

I also worked as an actress in Los Angeles for many years where I appeared in soap operas and the show, "Touched By An Angel." When I was 18, I played Wendy in a production of Peter Pan at the Barclay Theater.

At the end of August, my kids will be running the 200-yard dash at Disney's 2010 Half Marathon weekend. I will be running the Half Marathon. Wish us luck!
